On January 23, 2024, the Arundel municipal council renewed its free transportation program for seniors’ medical appointments (and half-price for distances over 400 km), continuing its successful collaboration with the Centre d’action bénévole des Laurentides (CABL) de Mont-Tremblant.
In order to encourage the practice of physical activities among young people (maximum $325/year) and adults (maximum $200/year), limit of $650 per family/year and to facilitate access to sports facilities not offered in Arundel, the Municipality reimburses a portion of additional fees for non-residents. It also wishes to grant financial assistance to a young person participating in a provincial final of the Quebec Games (maximum $250/year) and to a humanitarian school trip organized by a recognized educational institution (maximum $100/year).
